According to Wilder Research, 85% of Cookie Cart alumni are employed in the third year after graduating from our program. For Comparison, overall employment for working-age adults in the Near North community of Minneapolis is 69%

Preparing teens for successful futures is at the heart of our work here at Cookie Cart. Through training and hands-on experience, teens leave Cookie Cart equipped to utilize their new skills and leadership abilities in the workforce and throughout their communities. 

In partnership with Wilder Research and Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, we measure success based on youth growth in five key outcome areas: employment skills, interpersonal skills, critical thinking skills, goal orientation, and connectedness to new communities.

  • 91% of teens have the skills and experiences needed to be a mentor for other youth.
