Programming for the Saint Paul Cookie Cart is officially underway! In partnership with Johnson High School, 24 freshman and sophomores began classroom training in January, focusing on the topics of financial literacy, career readiness, and customer service. Classes are taught twice weekly and include guest speakers from Sunrise Banks, Kemps, and Xcel Energy. Some of the Saint Paul teens have had the opportunity to work Saturday shifts at the Minneapolis based Cookie Cart bakery, which is not only preparing them for what’s to come, but is also introducing them to other teens, helping them to form bonds and lasting friendships.

In January, volunteers from 3M along with members of our youth staff installed window cling signs, generously donated by 3M. The signs help identify and establish Cookie Cart in the East Side Neighborhood.
